Editor’s note: Comprised of teams from Trans-Valley League, Mother Lode League, Southern League, Central California Athletic Alliance. Records as of Monday, April 15, 2019.

(1). Hughson (14-2) — The Huskies dropped a Trans-Valley League slugfest to then No. 3 Livingston, 15-12, but came back with a vengeance two days later and beat the Wolves in their place, 12-1. Just like when Hilmar handed Hughson its first loss of the season … the Huskies answered with force.

(4). Argonaut (12-2) — The Mustangs worked themselves back into the rankings last week and jumped all the way to No. 2 this week as they get ready for a Mother Lode League showdown with Sonora.

(2). Mariposa (12-1) — The Grizzlies suffered first loss of the season at the hands of Ripon Christian, a team they beat two days earlier in the first leg of their home-and-home series. Mariposa moves down a spot, but not out of the Top 5.

(3). Livingston (10-5) — Followed up a impressive victory over No. 1 Hughson with a thud. Still, the Wolves proved they can play with the best and we’ll keep them in the Top 5 for at least another week.

(nr). Sonora (9-4) — Welcome to the Wildcats, who jump in at No. 5 after a pair of wins over Summerville, setting up a conference showdown with No. 2 Argonaut.
