1 (1). Buhach Colony (8-2) — Beat Central California Conference rival Merced twice before dropping a non-league game to Kimball. Not enough to drop the Thunder out of the top spot.

2 (2).Turlock (6-4) — The Bulldogs lost to Oakdale 6-5, making it the second consecutive one-run setback to a non-conference opponent.

3 (3). Los Banos (9-1) — Walloped Davis 11-0 and 11-1 in a pair of Western Athletic Conference games. The Tigers have a key conference series this week against Mountain House, also 4-0 in league play. 

4 (4). Oakdale (8-3) — The Mustangs swept a game East Union team last week, setting cup a Valley Oak League showdown with No. 5 Sierra

5 (5). Sierra (9-3–1) — Lost to a really good Lodi team in extra innings, then came back for a VOL sweep of Central Catholic, setting up a key home-and-home series with No. 4 Oakdale.
