Vote early and often for this week’s American Chevrolet Large-School Athlete of the Week. The poll closes Tuesday at 10 p.m.

Here are the Week 5 candidates, in alphabetical order:

Zaire Eugene, Modesto: Eugene got it done on both sides of the ball for the Panthers in a 26-16 victory over Stagg. Eugene rushed for more than 140 yards and two touchdowns, averaging about 8 yards per carry, and he had two of the team’s six interceptions. To vote, click here.

Felipe Martinez, Ceres: Martinez had 242 all-purpose yards as the Bulldogs celebrated Matt Chachere’s first victory as coach, a 44-21 trump over Beyer. Martinez rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries, and had a 15-yard touchdown reception. He also had 63 return yards. To vote, click here.

Logan McCleery, Patterson: The Tigers' sophomore quarterback threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns as Patterson snapped a two-game losing streak with a 28-7 victory over Golden Valley. McCleery completed 21 of his 31 passes en route to his second straight 300-yard game. To vote, click here.

Marcus Ordunez, Pacheco: Ordunez totaled four touchdowns in Pacheco’s 49-12 victory over Lathrop. Ordunez had two touchdowns and another two on the ground as the Panthers improved to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in Western Athletic Conference play, their best start since 2013. To vote, click here.
