Central Catholic overcame a 12-point deficit and advanced to its first Sac-Joaquin Section final in three years with a 31-30 victory over Inderkum in the Division II semifinal.

Kyla Jacklich scored two rushing touchdowns and the defense stood tall in the red zone as the second-seeded Raiders overcame two significant injuries and dealt Inderkum a season-ending loss in a steady rain at David Patton Field. Central Catholic outscored the Tigers 19-6 in the second half.

Afterward, running back Dawaiian McNeely, coach Roger Canepa and Jacklich discussed the come-from-behind victory and the significance of the section final berth.
