MODESTO -- Central Catholic's football team once again plays one of the toughest preseason schedules in all the state, and it needs every minute of every practice to get prepared for such a gauntlet. So the Raiders took the field Monday as early as possible -- at the stroke of midnight -- as they get ready to face Clovis West on Aug. 23 at David Patton Field.
